I am a Blogger

I am started blogging in March 2008. Since then, I never looked back to find a lot of things to create and design my own blog. Later, I found that creating a blog is fun and expanding my creativity. Especially when you have something to express but you don't know whom to express to and how. Visiting a lot of site make me thinking of something.

'Why can't I make a 'transit' blog for my self or may be for those who needs it'

I started compiling all top college's website and put on my blog and connected it with their main website. Then, I take an initiative to collect some of the creative and informative website to be added in my blog. Finally, I publish my very own blog... That's it!!!

But, since I connected with a lot of peoples around, why don't I make a little promo for my blog? This can be more fun because I can exchange ideas with them. I give them my email and my blog address for them to visit. Also, when replying an email by giving them those with direct connection to the address. It's part of my blog's promo but not to be famous because I realise my blog is not BIGGER, FAMOUS and CONTROVERSIAL as other blog.. I see that... I have a visitor counter but I am not counting them to make me famous then...

I have a friend from Bintulu, Sarawak names Ayea. He is a student and taking STPM in 2008. Accidentally, my blog becoming a good reference by him and his classmates to connect with educational site I put on my Blog.

Blog become a thing with special function. You don't expect people to read whatever thing your wrote but it is good for them to know what your feel. In some case, your story or idea will be an inspiration for those who read your blog.

Becoming a 'Blogger' is not like becoming a Star or to be famous. But a blogger have their own responsibility to tell a story, advised, advertisement, family structure, finds or any idea that can build ourselves or others. Blogger can also help people who are needed. But not to inspire people to do a bad thing.

Yesterday, I have read something useful about 'Big Up your Blog' in our local English newspaper. Sounds nice.. Here are the things that can be yours... May be... Have fun...

Chances are, your blog is not going to land you a book or movie deal like Julie Powell (Movie 'Julie & Julia' that opened on 7th August 2009 in USA cinema with Meryl Streep and Amy Adams as stars was based on her blog site 'Julie and Julia: My Year Of Cooking Dangerously'; and her book 'My Life In France') or make you a Superstar like Perez Hilton (Founder of PerezHilton.com which had about 2.7 million unique visitor in June '09. He is also an author of The Power of Less: The Fine Art Of Limiting Yourself To The Essential... Business and In Life).

But it can bring you personal satisfaction, give you an outlet for expression, help you connect with others and even assist you with leveraging a business. Along the way, you may even come across a little fame. Here is how:


- Blog about what you are passionate about, said Jennifer McLean blog search engine Technorati. Coming up with fresh and interesting content is easier. And if you're only blogging for money and fame, readers will pick up on it, she said.

- Make sure you post frequently, said Gretchen Rubin, who blogs about happiness. "That is a sign of vitality on a blog". And have a clear idea of what you are blogging about. Blogs do better when you have focus on it. So, focus...

- If you are an inspiring author, show that you have loyal following, said Brooke Warner, senior editor at Seal Press. "When someone says I get 25,000 unique visitor a month, we pay attention," she said.
"They have readers and either their story or writing is really good."

- Develop your unique voice, Julie Powell who blogged about cooking all the recipes in a Julia Child cookbook, had a unique book-nobody else had done that before, said Ellen Gerstein, vice president of marketing for John Wiley & Sons. She also brought a lot of humour to her blog.

- Spend time on marketing, said Darren Rowse of ProBlogger.net, a blog with tips for bloggers. With millions of blogs afloat on the web, writing posts is not enough to attract followers, he said. Focus on writing guest post for other blogs or networking, for example.
